Surprise x5

Whoa Benelli. Dan likes to let the dogs out when he's home, they run around, play and usually hang out with us. Except when Bear was involved. He realized one day, he could sneak out the back by the canal, take off and we wouldn't notice until he was already gone. Well, much to our dismay, he and Benelli became buddies and she started wandering off with him.


About a week before Labor Day, we realized Benelli had found a "friend" while she was gone on one of her walkabouts. -No wonder she was gone until dark.- These cute little puppies are the result of that "friendship" and were born on Labor Day. How fitting.


There were three males and 2 females.


Of course my kids think it's fabulous.
I'm just glad I wasn't the one having 5 babies...
By the way, Bear isn't to blame. He met up with a vet at a clinic last December and came home with a few stitches.
