It was "A walk in the park"

I've written about how much I've grown to love Winter this year. The beautiful white snow covers everything and like I said before, "In Winter, ALL yards are created equal"... Even Mine! You see, getting to the point of loving Winter is a really recent thing for me.

One thing that I have Always.Absolutely.Loved. is SPRING. I know we're still in for some storms and I know it could even snow in June. After all, we DO live in Utah. Not only do we have the Best Snow On Earth, but we have the craziest weather as well.

But when the snow starts to melt and the brown grass starts to show and the sun shines warm rays on me I get ancy.

Ancy to go outside and feel the warm sunshine on my arms and enjoy the chilly wind on my face. Anyone who really knows me, can validate that I turn the AC on in the dead of winter in the car, just to feel it on my face.

I get ancy to get the double jogger stroller out. But really, mine's actually a double walker. I Love to Walk.

So last Satuday, "Get out the stroller" I did. I plopped Fisher in one side, Hunter rode his bike and carly "rode" her scooter... Actually she carried it most of the way as she walked.

And we ended up at the park that's in the neighborhood across the street from us.

The same moment they took off their helmets and ran for the swings, was the exact same moment some little kid puked all over one of the climbing toys. His dad took off the kid's coat, wiped his face, and sent him over to the slide.

My kids had been looking forward to being at the Park, so we stayed clear of the puke toy and the slide and kept our distance over at this climbing thingamajigger toy...

The tire swing...

And of course the regular swings.

And do you know what?

We enjoyed our afternoon at Puke Park.

Every...

Single...

Minute.

...And then we used up a whole bottle of Hand Sanitizer on the way home. Crazy paranoid mother. Being at Puke Park will do that to you, you know...

Oh, and Carly rode in the stroller on the way home and her princess scooter rode on top of the sunshade. Seems carrying your scooter ain't all it's cracked up to be...

Dan is coming home tonight... Yay!

Dan is coming home tonight and I am excited. He's been in Florida for work since last friday. I always miss him when he's gone, but I love all the extra "I love you's" and "I miss you's" I get while he's away.

The days have flown by since he's been gone. They didn't when it was just Dan and I and he worked in Colorado, but with the kids to take care of, time does not stand still and there is plenty to fill my hours with. I had to call Poison Control Sunday when Fisher got a hold of a bottle of children's liquid Motrin and drank what was left in the bottle. (Sigh...) There was a little over 1/3 of a bottle left. Luckily he was just fine. They said he could have drank twice that much and still been okay. I swear that kid is so stinkin' fast. It's amazing any of us survived our childhoods into adulthood.

So, the kids and I are going to make some "Welcome Home" signs, tidy up the house and head to the airport. I'm glad you're coming home babe. We love you the mostest!

What the heck is on Fisher?

We all know how busy Fisher is... So, I've got another set of pictures for you:

Okay, I'll start with this picture. What the heck is that white stuff on him?

I'll bet Grandma Karen has a pretty good guess with that small slice of box that you can see...

Ha ha ha....
"FISH" FRY!

Looks like all we need are some chips!
P.S. Look at his cute smile. He still doesn't have all four teeth on the bottom! I've got to get all the pictures I can get before those babies fill in. He's working on a bottom tooth as we speak :)

Everyone I love

This is everyone I love and a single moment captured in time. There will come a day when Hunter will be taller than me, Carly will be too big for her daddy to hold and Fisher will no longer be sucking his thumb in my arms.
This is but one small moment...
...that I never want to forget
...that I will always cherish
...and now with this picture it's a forever memory-

Random Pictures from Hunter, our 7 year old photographer-

Alright, so Hunter is most definitely like me in the picture department. He LOVES to take them! It's so funny to see what he takes pictures of. I often wonder why he chooses to photograph the things he does.

Hunter's Jr. Jazz pic in his room from last year. He cut his own head off!

The deer Dan shot last year is hanging in Hunter's room.

Wow, need to do some dusting on that picture of him as a baby that's hanging above his bed!

This picture is also hanging in Hunter's room. He was almost two.
